Production Notice: An Honest Update on Our Remaining Stock
We are down to our final 24 DUKE10 instruments in total global stock. Once these are spoken for, we may never be able to produce this exact model again.
Why? The ongoing escalation in US-China import tariffs and strict new raw-material compliance laws have fundamentally disrupted our boutique supply chain. Sourcing our specific materials, woods and custom components under the current trade restrictions is becoming logistically impossible without compromising our quality or doubling our prices.
Every single one of these remaining 24 units has already cleared customs and is waiting in our Toronto workshop for its final 16-point luthier setup. If you have been waiting to secure your DUKE10, this final batch is likely the last window to own one.
This is your chance to get yourself an iconic DUKE10 Tenor Banjo Ukulele (version 3) fitted with a LOW G string. We are shipping worldwide from our new distribution hub in Toronto, Canada. This latest version has had some major tweaks and upgrades, as well as the addition of an awesome hard case, so we just know you will be thrilled with the latest iteration of our iconic banjolele.
LOW G included. If you prefer the sound of a Low G tuning, then you can have it. Your DUKE10 banjolele will be fitted with a set of Worth Brown strings using a Low G instead of the standard High G, at no extra charge! It will be tuned GCEA.
(If you prefer a High G using standard tuning gCEA, then please check out this DUKE10 instead.)
EXTRA STRINGS? If you would like us to add an extra set or two of Worth Brown Strings, we can slip them into the case before we ship your DUKE10. Simply add a set or two to your Cart before you checkout.
LEFTY? If you would like us to convert a DUKE10-V3 to a Left-Handed version, we can do that for you. Simply add a DUKE10 AND the LH Conversion Service to your Cart before checking out and we will make it happen, just like that! ;-)
Just so everything is clear and there are no unexpected surprises, please be sure to read our Refund Policy and our Shipping Info.
HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT WHEN YOU INVEST IN A DUKE10:
If you can play a ukulele, you can play a banjolele - same tuning, same chord shapes.
A tone that is strident yet rich, bright yet warm, helped by the large 10" drum & head, and the Worth Brown Fluorocarbon Tenor Ukulele Strings (now replacing the Aquila's due to an even better sound).
Great playability with a nice low action, meaning the strings are close to the fingerboard, making them easier to push down to play chords.
Carefully adjusted intonation, giving you an instrument that plays in tune with itself, right up the fretboard.
A banjolele that is 'gig ready' with its rich and powerful twin passive transducer pickup system. Just plug in and you are ready to go big!
An awesome hard case finished in vintage-style tweed with gold hardware.
A classic black strap with strap holders to attach it to your DUKE10-V3.
A clear and concise instruction sheet explaining how to get your banjolele up and running quickly and easily, plus video support for getting the bridge set up correctly after you unbox your new 'baby'.
Final quality check and full professional setup carried out in Toronto, Canada.
All orders shipped from our new distribution hub in Toronto, Canada.
Friendly and helpful customer care from owner Jamie Houston, who lives in New Zealand.
Don't just take our word for it, see what our happy DUKE10 owners are saying on our Reviews Page (all independently collected).
Watch our friend Kelly Trafford (@fourstringstrummer) as he unboxes a DUKE10-V3 and goes through all the features and benefits in detail. Plus, he plays a mean banjolele, so you can hear how good the DUKE10 sounds!
And in the video below you can compare the sound of a DUKE10 strung with a standard high G tuning vs one strung with a Low G.
