Shipping Information

Distribution & Logistics All our banjoleles are sent from our manufacturer in China to our Distribution Hub in Toronto, Canada, where we conduct final quality checks and a full setup on each instrument. They are then carefully packed for shipping out to their new owners.

Shipping Times & Rates

  • North America (USA & Canada): Shipping typically takes 4–8 business days, plus up to 2 business days processing time. Rates vary from $USD25 to $USD50 depending on the distance from Toronto.

  • Rest of World: Shipping typically takes 5–15 business days, plus up to 2 business days processing time. Rates range from $USD40 to $USD120.

  • Note: Shipping prices fluctuate globally and are subject to change without notice. If your country is not available at checkout, please contact us for a personalized shipping quote.

Important Delivery Requirements: You must supply the address of a physical premises and a contact phone number for yourself or your representative at that shipping address. We may be unable to ship to PO Boxes or APO AE addresses. Please contact us before completing your order so we check if your address is available to ship to.

Tariffs, Taxes, and Duties

USA Orders Orders shipped to the USA must have tariffs, duties, and taxes paid in advance. You must contact us before ordering so we can prepare a personalized invoice including these costs and delivery to your door.

International Orders (Outside USA/Canada) The amount you pay at checkout DOES NOT include local Customs duties, VAT, taxes, brokerage fees, and the like. These may be levied at the discretion of your local customs office upon arrival. You are liable for any and all such charges.

  • If you refuse to pay these border costs and the shipment is returned to us, a shipping & handling fee (not less than the actual cost of shipping billed to Duke Banjo Ukuleles) plus a $USD35 admin fee will be deducted from your refund.

EU Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)

The following terms apply specifically to consumers purchasing from within the European Union.

Right of Withdrawal You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquire physical possession of the instrument.

How to Exercise Your Right To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must use our dedicated "Withdraw from contract" button, which can be found in your account area or website footer. This is the official and most efficient method to ensure an immediate, timestamped acknowledgment of your request.

Effects of Withdrawal

  • Refunds: We will reimburse all payments received, including standard delivery costs. If you selected a premium shipping upgrade, the cost of that upgrade is non-refundable.

  • Timing: We will process your refund without undue delay and, in any event, not later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back.

  • Return Costs: The consumer shall bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

  • Diminished Value: You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the instrument.
