I love this Duke 10 Banjo - Ukulele....the set up is great and it plays very well. The tenor neck gives more room for my fingers. The only limitation is my ability, I have not played a Banjo Ukulele before but I can see the possibilities. We are part of a ukulele group 'Rukes' consisting of a Uke-bass, Duke 10 and about 10 Ukes, we play and sing anything - folk, country, Church, and popular songs of the last 60 years. I have started using the Duke 10 as a lead instrument picking out the tune, mostly within the strum, using a soft flat pick. The greater volume enables me to be heard above the other ukuleles. I am still developing this technique but am very pleased with the way it is going.

My wife, who obviously got the big hint for my Christmas gift ordered the Duke 10 and was advised that they only stood a slim chance of getting it to me in time but would pull out all stops to get it delivered to Perth Western Australia. And they did, it arrived on the 24th December whilst I was out but was received by my wife and whisked away before I had chance to notice. A wonderful surprise that was backed up with supper service from Jamie who did his utmost to get it to delivered. I already have 3 other Banjoleles but the Duke 10 is so beautifully set up its an absolute pleasure to play. If I could give it a 10 star rating I would, its wonderful instrument. Thanks again Jamie and by the way, the bag turned up a week or so later as promised.

Very nice products solid piece. Arm rest is a nice feature you don't find on other banjoleles, has a good action on it and setup was pretty easy
I'm having a pretty good time with the Duke 10. Tightening the head helped to give the upper register some better clarity, but I'm still fiddling around looking for more. The arm rest was loose on arrival. Ended up adding a locking nut on top of the rim nut. That should be a permanent fix.
Workmanship is otherwise very good. I've never played a banjo uke before so I can't compare it to any others, but I'm happy with the instrument and look forward to making music with it.
This is a good banjo uke. Good sound. The neck and fretboard made it easy and smooth to play. One of the few banjoleles with an armrest. Has good volume but if thats not enough for you it come with a nice pickup.
I am very impressed with the DUKE10. It has a mellow banjo ukulele sound - very easy & fun to play. In fact, 24 people from my band (out of 40) purchased the DUKE10, and every one of them is happy with the uke.
It is excellent value. If you’re in the market I’d recommend it highly.

Firstly the customer support during the process of purchasing the Duke uke was second to none . Through several emails I was kept informed of progress and when the uke arrived there was a small problem with the armrest being a little loose . When informed of this I immediately received a reply and a video showing me how to deal with it . This level of customer support you do not get very often , if ever . Regarding the uke I regard it as great value . I have been playing the uke for nearly forty years and have many ukes and now this uke is one of my favourites . It looks great and is easy to play , true all the way up the neck , no buzzing . Also you don't need the fingers of Superman to play the Bb chord !
The Duke 10 is a great instrument to play! Mine arrived on Dec 24th 2018 so it was a Very Merry Christmas indeed. My friends also love the look and feel of the Duke10.

I’m extremely pleased with the Duke banjolele. It is a fun instrument to play and a big hit with my fellow ukulele players. Set up was easy and I was playing shortly after opening the box. A couple of comments. The G string kept popping out of the bridge slot initially. This could have been because I strum harder than average. I took a file and deepened the slot slightly with no further issues. The neck feels bigger (deeper?) than my other ukuleles. This may affect people with smaller hands. In short, it is everything duke claims and I would recommend it to anyone.
I was convinced by a friend of mine to purchase the Duke10 Banjolele. I already had a Concert Ukulele and I thought it would be nice to have another instrument to give a different sound. My word, it really gives a magic sound which suits so many of the old favorite tunes, a perfect alternative to just having a Ukulele. Do yourself a favor and get a Duke10 - it is a fabulous instrument for the price!
The banjo Uke has a beautiful tone. I absolutely love that it’s the same strings as the Uke. The size is perfect. The only thing, I wish there was a way to attach the strap properly. It was absolutely a wonderful choice for me.
I was really excited to receive my Duke10 Tenor Banjo Ukulele. It is great to play and with the electric pickup it is even better. I am very happy and would highly recommend the Duke10 to anyone considering adding a banjolele to their collection.

I particularly like the tone and the weight of the Duke 10. I was looking for a tenor with an electric pickup and liked the sleek look of the Duke 10. Very happy with this instrument. And great service from the moment I placed the order through to it's speedy delivery. Thank you.
My Duke10 arrived with a major flaw. The problem was that the neck was mis-aligned so there was no snug fit between the neck and the drum. In addition, the neck was hard up against the drum head adjustment ring making adjusting the head impossible. Jamie responded to the problem quickly and, after I sent him some photos of the problem, he had another Duke10 sent to me and it arrived in a few days. So enough about the great service and attention to my problem. The replacement Duke10 is perfect and.is an incredibly fun instrument to play. The tenor size gives my fat fingers room to move on the fretboard and the armrest is comfortable. The weight balance will take some getting used to but the included strap helps. As for the sound, even my girlfriend says she likes the sound of it and she hasn't said that about my tenor. You can play it softly or beat on it and it gives you what you want. This is a great instrument for an experienced uke player to get a vastly different sound or a beginner as, like any uke, it is easy and fun to play. Thanks, Jamie for sticking with me and working everything out. I'm going to enjoy this uke for a long time.
I am absolutely delighted with my Duke 10. It is a lovely looking instrument and is such a pleasure to play. It has a great sound and I have so much to learn to get the best out of it.

I love playing my Duke 10! Perfect size for me, love hearing all my jazz standards, folk and other songs I play on it. I love having a pick up, adjusting the drum head, and having its own strap and bag! Great purchase!

Love my Duke 10 and everything about it , It's so smooth and has a great tone. I pre ordered and was pleasantly surprised / delighted when it came just before Christmas and not after as had been forecast. the Tuners are a joy to use, wish all my stringed instruments had the same tuners.The gig bag came a few days later , it's well padded and is so bright and cheerful it just cannot be missed. The sound is beautiful and I am very pleased and delighted with my purchase. The "set-up" video on your website was very useful too.

The Duke 10 is a beautifully designed banjo ukulele. It sounds fantastic and is super easy and fun to play. If you can play a ukulele then you can play this. I love the detail from the pickup down to the arm rest. It has a beautiful tone and the banjo sound is a great addition to my ukulele collection. Duke has taken his rightful place king of my collection! The only thing i would improve is the strap clips, they are too large and damage the drum sides slightly. I quickly changed to a tie on leather strap but I appreciated the strap included as part of the complete package. That aside, I cannot recommend this enough. I am so very happy with it. Duke 10 Banjo Ukulele, is very well made, looks super cool, and sounds fantastic. 10/10.
